When we booked the waterfall trip we also booked a VIP bus to take us down to Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. We booked this bus not knowing the state of the roads so weren't trilled about the journey.

We got on the bus at 8:30am ready for the 9 hour journey. When we got on the bus it was like we had travelled back to the 70s! The bus had a hideous floral design on every possible panel and the curtains were awful discoloured cream ones.
