As you can see from the picture, I went to Alcatraz this morning. I nearly missed the boat though as I thought I put my alarm on snooze but I turned it off instead! So I had to run! It was really good though. Very interesting. The cells are 6ft x 9ft and 7ft tall. Really, really small and they got no privacy at all. There were even isolation cells that were called "the hole" and the prisoners were put in there for misbehaviour and they were left ...

Well it rained again today unsuprisingly. Yesterday I went to the deYoung and Legion of Honor museums where I saw loads of art work. The deYoung was mainly contemporary American art most of the artists I'd never heard of and most of the paintings were abstract so I wasn't really sure what I was looking at! I am swimming through the streets of San Francisco. I've never seen so much rain. It actually hasn't stopped all day. And I got soaked through! Water was bubbling up through my toes in my shoes and I could wring out my ski jacket! It's cold too. At least the hostel is warm which is much better than the Hollywood one and the internet is cheaper. Instead of 150 mins for $10 I can get 200 mins here.
