Well, I've arrived! Had the worst night's sleep ever last night as was over tired and then just couldn't fall asleep so am a bit tired today. Walked along the beach this morning it was so beautiful. Have taken a few pics but can't get them on a computer as yet. Will upload them asap. Hostel seems okay. Reception staff are friendly. She liked my passport cover with the kitten on! (Thanks Sarah!) Is very quiet as really is low season. Didn't really know what to do today! Don't want to rush in a do all the Hollywood sights etc as I'm staying in Hollywood later on in the month. Have wondered round the streets of Santa Monia and browsed round the many shops. Bought a pair of socks with red, white and blue stars on and they were only $1.05!! Bargain! Am wearing them now as my feet got a bit cold in my Crocs. It's about 17-18 Degrees C is spose. You'd think it was freezing as people are dressed up in coats and scarves it's quite funny! I've just got a sweatshirt on. It's warm enough in the sun but quite chilly in the shade. Well, haven't really done enough yet to have much to say...
