Today has been far too much travelling and hold ups.

First we had to wait half an hour for someone to finish their dolphin swim (we did get to see a baby seal while we waited which half made up for it!), then we had to stop for someone to get money out of an ATM, then we had multiple roadworks to drive through. So by the time we got to the ferry, we just wanted to get on and arrive in Wellington as quickly as possible. I've also had the added excitement of being really ill today. Apparently the cold morning swim yesterday didn't do great things for my cough.

Sadly, our ferry curse seemed to hit us again and we ended up waiting on the ferry for an hour before we even started moving! Not ideal. The only redeeming part of this ungodly 4 hour ferry is that it means I'm not completely caught up with my blogs!!! For the first time since Auckland!!

But now I have another 2 hours to go and nothing to do…perfect.
