We carried on to Carnarvon where we had hoped to find work. To our surprise there was no fruit picking work and nothing in the few bars and restaurants. We stayed the night and had a good look around the town before heading on to Coral Bay and the Ningaloo reef. Coral Bay revolves around the reef and everything is geared towards snorkelling and diving. Our next stop was Kalbarri, a small seaside town off the main highway. This is a beautiful part of the coastline and we enjoyed looking around the town and strolling along the beach. On friday we went to meet the Ellis family in Geraldton. Even though we had never met before they were very welcoming and helped us prepare for our trip up north. We bought a fan and a fridge, so we should be able to deal with the heat and humidity when we get up there.
