What can I say I am still hanging around Cairns, the dullest place in the world. I was trying to look for a job but couldn't find anything so have decided that as of Sunday I will keep on moving. Heading upto Port Douglas with a recommendation from some Australian girls I met who said it was beautiful. So I will be spending my birthday there just lazing by the beach. Cairns has kind of settled me into being the solo traveller and I have met some lovely people in the week I have been on my own. Firstly the Melbourne girls Danielle, Dallelle and Natalie who took me under their wing and showed me all things Australian. I have to apoligise to them for being so annoying and asking loads of question about neighbours. But they did teach me some excellent Australian insults including Bogan (not sure if that's how you spell it) which I will be using in my daily vocab. Since then I have some new girls moved into the hostel, Sarah, Emma and Rosanne from Nottingham who have also been great. So hopefully I will continue to meet some great people.
