Arrived in Surfers Paradise on the 19th november, On the bus to, the driver informs us Queensland is 1 hour behind new south wales, quite random, changed my clock back. The bus from Byron Bay took just over an hour. Arrived at the transit centre and went inside to the info desk who phoned the hostel for the mini bus to pick me up. Today I went to Australia Zoo! Got picked up by the zoo bus at Hastings Street, Noosaheads, watched an episode of Steve Irwin's Crocodile Hunter on the way. Arrived at the Zoo and the first thing I did was get in the queue to feed the elephants. But the elephants were late! got to feed one in the end, before going to get my picture took holding a koala. This was $20, a bit excessive but I figured as it's going towards steves zoo and i wont do it again its worth...

Arrived in Brisbane on the 23rd November. I dumped my bags in the hostel and went to the Castlemaine XXXX Brewery to do the tour. The tour was good, Queensland seems like a very proud state.
