Today I went to Australia Zoo!

Got picked up by the zoo bus at Hastings Street, Noosaheads, watched an episode of Steve Irwin's Crocodile Hunter on the way.

Arrived at the Zoo and the first thing I did was get in the queue to feed the elephants. But the elephants were late! got to feed one in the end, before going to get my picture took holding a koala. This was $20, a bit excessive but I figured as it's going towards steves zoo and i wont do it again its worth it. You could also get your picture taking with other animals, snakes, lizards, baby aligator and birds. Then went to the crocossium to watch the animal shows. Birds, snakes and crocs.

after the show I just walked around the zoo to see all the animals.

There is a new section to the zoo called africa, you have to get a little shuttle bus thing out to it, this is where the Giraffes, Zebras and rhinos are. It is still very much under developement and they are making a cheetah enclosure which isnt open yet.

As a fan of Steve Irwin i really enjoyed the Zoo. There are tributes and bits of information and things around the zoo about him which are good.

Got the Zoo bus back to Noosa, time to pack, leaving for Rainbow beach tomorrow!
