Arrived in Cairns 3 days early, missing out Mission beach as the weather isnt toogood and there is nothing to do in mission beach except jump out of a plane or white water rafting.

Also some of the girls ive met travelling up were in Cairns and leave the next day so wanted to see them before they go.

Got to Cairns in torrential rain! checked in to Gilligan's well known as the party hostel and got put in a room with my mates. Headed out to the woolshed for tea and drinks. Was a good night, dancing on the tables etc. Got bitten really badly though
