We got up and chilled out in our apartment in the morning. We have a TV in the apartment so we watched this for a bit. We then had a walk around the city and found somewhere to have lunch at a cafe along the Esplanade. We had a walk around the lagoon and up towards Cairns Harbour. Afterwards we went to find the Greyhound office to book some dates and times for our onward journey down the East Coast. We have already purchased the pass right down to Sydney before we left for travelling. All we have to do is prebook which days we want to leave each place we visit down the East Coast. We booked our next two stops with the office and then went on the internet for a bit to book up the accommodation in these places. Then we found where the supermarket was. It's called Woolworths. We got food supplies for the next couple of days. We bought loads though and it was quite a way back to our apartment. Carrying heavy bags in the hot weather was not good. On the way back we saw Dina and her cousins we had met in New Zealand on the Kiwi Experience sat in a tourist information centre so we got chatting to them for a bit. The temperature is around 35 degrees in Australia at the moment so summer has definitely arrived for Gina and I. Bring on the tan lol. In the evening I cooked Spag bowl for us and then we headed out to Giligans. It is another hostel in Cairns which is very popular with people and anyone can walk into the bar even if you aren't staying there. We had quite a few drinks here as it was 2 for 1 for an hour. We sat with some girls for a bit who were studying in Cairns for the year. Then we went to dance on the dancefloor. We left Giligans around midnight and had the real munchies as we were drunk so we got a pizza slice and then walked back to our apartment to go to bed.
