We are travelling through the night on the Greyhound bus from Airlie Beach to Hervey Bay. It took around 12 hours to get there. It was the longest bus journey ever. We watched a film on the bus but as we were so tired from the Whitsundays sailing trip all we wanted to do was sleep. We stopped for 30 minutes at 10pm for a break and to eat some food. Then it was a straight run through the night. We slept for most of the journey but I woke up when we stopped for the driver change. It was a quick turn around and then we were off again. At 5.30am we stopped for a break where people could get coffee and breakfast but we stayed on the bus and fell asleep again. After this it was a short drive to Hervey Bay Transit Centre. We arrived here at 7am.
