We got up ready to be picked up at 10.30am to go on the Huka Falls jet boat. Huka Falls jet boat in Taupo is a 30 minute thrilling jet boat ride to the base of the spectacular Huka Falls - New Zealand's most visited natural attraction. We cruised along the water at high speed and did really fast spins. We all got very wet but we were wearing waterproof jackets over our clothes. We got 50% off this jet boat ride with our Explore New Zealand cards whereas the cost is normally $99.00. After we got dropped back to the hostel, Gina was supposed to be doing a bungy jump in the afternoon but she had lack of energy for it and decided not to do it in the end. I had been thinking about doing the bungy jump as it was free with our Explore New Zealand cards but I don't think I would have been able to jump on my own so I decided against it. At least with the sky dive someone pushes you out lol. After the sky dive though I think you can pretty much do and overcome anything so we might do the bungy jump in Queenstown. Will have to see how much money we have left for it. In the afternoon we just chilled out and used the internet. Gina had some laundry to do as well. I had a walk along the lake and took some photos. In the evening the hostel did a free BBQ again. I fancied a quiet night and save some money and Gina went out to Element bar with all the guys that we had met last night and got really drunk. Apparently she had been sick in the bar toilets and dropped a glass on the floor. One of the lads James looked after Gina and helped her back to our dorm room. He was a real gentleman. She was sick in the toilets again and he was holding back her hair. Bless him.
