So Tom and i said goodbye in Nepal, both excited but a little sad to leave each other. The journey went very smoothly all the way to Bangkok and i went straight to bed but couldn't sleep much as i was so excited about seeing Sam and Kathryn!
The next morning the ladies arrived, all pretty exhausted and smelly from 36 hours of travelling. After they'd had a good clean and a nap we went and had some yummy Thai food then watched a few matched of Thai boxing.
We decided we wanted out of Bangkok asap so the next day was spent on a VERY swanky bus down to the port town of Krabi. It is very humid here so most of the time we are drenched in sweat, which is nice. I had my first alcoholic beverage in 10 weeks that night, very chilled night full of girlies giggles.
Next morning we took a long boat to Railey beach, a favourite spot for climbers what with it's dramatic limestone cliffs over sparkling turqoise seas. We loved it! After checking in to our bamboo hut we spent the first day swimming and playing on the beach. The second day we went on a bit of a scramble up a cliff to a fantastic view point. We all got covered in red mud and drenched in sweat but you've never seen such big grins! We also tested the night life which involved fire shows, boxing, dancing and Canadian boys in skimpy outfits running away from cockerals. Lots of fun!
