Took the 6 hour bus to Pushkar, it went well and was a pretty funny experience, don't think theres an official capacity on the bus, just the conducter who screamed at you for money. Weirdly he seemed friendly when we eventually arrived, gave me a hug and explained something in hindi, god knows what. The rickshaw (tuk tuk) drivers pounched on us like seaguls and we spent the next 20 minutes facing backwards, inches from headlights, through Ajmer rush hour.

We stayed at a simple but friendly place where the owners had based the colour scheme on a packet of dolly mix sweets, we spent the next couple days eating, drinking lassi's (amazingly refreshing yoghurty drinks) and getting hassle walking through the markets lining the streets although they did persuade Hannah to buy a lovely silver and turquoise bracelet. We went for a couple strolls too, views from a temple overlooking the town were awesome.
