Its been a while since the last blog went in so i will try and remember everything, apologies.
We traveled to KL after having not seen a large city for a while so we were a little excited to see people again. We arrived and it was stupidly hot compared with Cameron Highlands which was a good 10-15 degrees cooler. After we bumped into girls we met in Penang straight off the bus we found out what there was actually to do in KL and was surprised that the only thing they could think of was the two towers and shopping. The next day after getting no sleep because we had decied to be tight and get a fan room instead of air con (we soon moved)we got our bearings and went for a walk and found this awesome market where i found my calling in life, Bartering. Bartering is so much fun and you get a cheaper price what more could you want? The trick is to walk away thats the best tip anyway if you do go to KL. After buying a whole load of stuff we then went to one of the what seemed hundreds of shopping malls which i must say were impressive. We chose on two Times Square and the Pavillion. Times square had everything in its 7 floors even a theme aprk which we went to on the last day, had a cool rollercoaster and another wierd ride that span on all axis. The Pavillion on the other hand had every decent clothes shop ever but was a little too expensive, girls do not go there as your bank balances will drop dramatically. Anyway enough about shopping as thats not all that we did we went up the Petronas towers as pictured to that skybridge but we had to get up up early as it was first come firts served. It was good but not great as you literally got up ther took a look around had a photo and that was your time up. We went to a taller communications tower as night was falling and that was a lot better we thought (Pat has all the pics so i will soon steal them off him and put them up soon.)
We then traveled to Paulo Tioman as we had time to kill before going to Singapore and it turned out to be a good call, like the Perhaentian islands we got a beach bungalow dirt cheap and the weather there was immense, so nice and hot. By day we would just chill on the beach and by night drank cheap beer around a bonfire singing along to a really good guitarist from manchester with lots of other sound people.
Singapore next to see some cleaness.
