The Perhentain Islands are paradise literally. They are on the east coast of malaysia and are the dogs b******s if you want a week of peace and quiet of a beach go there. We made it across the border despite the rumours of danger and arrived in Penang pretty late. We were meant to go to Langkowi (another Malaysian island) but our bus driver had made us miss our connecting bus which was a bit annoying. So instead we came to penang expecting a smallish island with lots of nice beaches and not too much development and boy were we wrong.
