Im sitting at the computer in Lisas in the sun - Ive really missed sun!

Lisa and Sam took us for a drive around yesterday where we went and had an icecream on the beach and saw One Tree Hill. Its literally a massive hill - I think it used to have a tree on it but now theres a pointy big memorial pillar on the top of the hill... It has great views anyhow from the top so it was a nice walk up. We also had some encounters with some not so friendly sheep on the way up - mel tried (and failed) to make friends which was quite funny.

When we got back we were all pretty tired, Anna said she would probably take a nap whereas I thought i wasnt tired enough and Mel said she wouldnt sleep later if she slept then. Needless to say we all conked out and slept til dinner!

Lisas family have been so kind! They cooked us a massive BBQ last night and then we sat and watched some tv. Anna stayed up to watch Gran Turismo (good film apprently!) but me and mel decided to call it a night at like 9pm.

Anna and I managed to sleep through the whole night - it was SO good to sleep! However I think mel has yet to crack her jetlag as she was awake a lot. This morning we had breakfast and took it easy. Anna almost tried her easter bunny but found a little corner has been nibbled at! Lol - we still havent solved the mystery of the eaten bunny...

Today was a really lovely day! It rained a bit last night but today has literally just been so so sunny! We got driven down to Piha Beach. Its a beautiful black sand beach with a pretty rough sea - the life guards there are famous it actually, they have a tv show about how dangerous it is there. We didnt go in but it was a lovely day to walk around. We also went into town and went up Auckland's Sky Tower. Its very very high and although we didnt try the bungying or crazy SkyWalk around the egde we went to the top and saw some amazing views!

Were probably going to go out for dinner tonight which should be nice as its our last night in auckland with the family. Other than that hope eveythings all good in england! Ive fallen in love with new zealand :)
