woke up yet again with another goon hangover, the 5th in 7 days to be precise. We packed up and left the camp for the last time and headed to lake wappy. The lake was in a secluded area on the island. We Parked at the beach, had a 40 minute walk through a forest to get to some sand dunes and a lake, such a weird formation this island.
The lake was really nice and because after the long walk in humid weather it was common for people to run down the sand dune an jump in the lake, but because it's so shallow at the front people jump in and break their arms and stuff so danny said if anyone wanted to do anything like that they should do the crumb sausage.
Basically because your so sweaty off walking to the lake the sand sticks to you so you lie down and roll down the hill collecting all the sand to look like a crumb sausage and when you reach the bottom you fall in the lake and get rid of all the sand.
I didn't try it since I didn't have any swimming shorts but a couple people did and a little Irish lass threw up off it so I was probably best off not doing it with a hangover.
After dinner we left the island, had a great experience and memories from visiting all the cool places, camping on a desert Island and driving an suv. We met up with Danny for a few drinks after in the hostel then this irish gay lad in my room decided to dress up for a Halloween party at a pub and wore a Dutch guys surf protector or something also with stockings and he looked like a ridiculous camp spiderman. Ive got a pic I'll have to put on dropbox. Lot of good memories here but I'd say whitsundays was slightly better in terms of banter. Next stop Brisbane!
