I had a bit of a sleep in this morning, George had invited me out to do some shopping with him in Dar es Salaam this morning, but he said it wasn't totally necessary that I come so I thought, screw it I'll hang around here for the day.
I got up and had a full English breakfast and used my computer for most of the morning, catching up on my blogging and even having a chat to Mum. I love this place at Dar es Salaam, I especially love sitting in a hammock and doing my so called work.
After my internet time ran out I went back to my banda and got changed into my swimmers and went in the pool for a bit, before grabbing a deck chair and falling asleep in the heat until about 2pm.
I ran into George at about 3pm who told me our group would be arriving off another truck shortly and that we should prepare to meet them and help them swap trucks. An hour later the truck arrived and the scene was chaotic, introducing myself to everyone, swapping bags over, getting people into their tents, making a plan for dinner.
Finally, when we had everything set up, I went and sat back down by the pool and then went back to my room and watched some TV before heading to dinner and having the awesome roast lamb that George had ordered. After dinner I pulled up another hammock closer to the beach and put on some music and drifted away for a bit looking up at the stars and watching the Maasai warriors who guard the camp sitting on our strip of beach.
