Up with the sun again and we packed up the camp and headed off for the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, we managed to finally see a cheetah. She was a mother with cubs, but in the distance so we had to use binoculars.
We reached the spectacular crater after about a hours drive and dodging wildebeasts that ran in front of us on the road.We drove down into it and then stopped for lunch by a small lake.On the way in we past another lake that was covered in pink flamingos, it was a real sight, from a distance the lake just looked pink.
We ate our lunch in the jeep to prevent the eagles over head from swooping and taking it from us.We watched as other tourists had their lunch plucked from their fingers. After lunch we saw a lion which was literally crouched in the grass right next to the jeep and we also saw two more rhinos, which was amazing to see.
At about 4pm we drove out of the crater and back to our camp, we set up the tents and again and I went for a much needed shower, something we don't get on bush camps.
