I woke up in my hut at Iringa this morning, I was awoken by the loud departure of the Dragoman truck outside. Thank god they were leaving early or I would probably still be in bed considering my alarm had decided not to go off.
It was a pretty uneventful day, apart from our border crossing into Malawi, just a lot of driving. We arrived at Chitimba at the same camp at which I had stayed with Dragoman. I didn't need the tour as I had stayed there before, George got us both crew rooms so I didn't have to pitch a tent and then got us both a beer at the bar. After the group cooked dinner, I went and hung out at the bar and chatted to people for a bit, I sat on the beach and layed down and looked at the stars.
It was so strange being here and sitting at the same table that Siobhan and I had watched people we knew playing volleyball, or laying in the same lounge chairs. I remember having two nights here with Dragoman, but we only stayed overnight at this lovely quiet tranquil place, maybe I'll change that when I bring my own tours through.
