Today was a great day in Sapa, its felt good to sleep in this morning and not thinking about where you have to go and what you have to do, i wondered around the town in the morning, there are loads of tourists here and all the main street consisits of of fake north face clothing shops, restaurants, and massage parlors, we meet up with the canadians and went for a walk out of town, as soon as you get out of the town, the scnenery changes and you feel like your back in the real vietnam we walked down into the valley and there were lots of rice terrices every where but it didnt feel special, the people wernt interested in seeing you, unlike the villages we passed when we were riding along the way, we got to the bottom of the valley and it was real muddy, we wondered around a little but then we had to walk back up, it was a really steep climb back up to the road and it took us over a hour to walk back up and we were exausted we stopped a van on the road and it took us back into town we were really hungry, we had lunch adn then we had the rest of the afternoon off and i managed to find a great painting to put up on my wall at home, were planning on staying in sapa tomorro and then head off back to hanoi, but its nice to just have a break and absorbe all of the amazing experiences i have had over the past two weeks.
