Today was a really hot day, we left Ha Giang at 7:30 but Daniels front suspension was finished his front forks were not doing their job anymore so we stopped at a mechanic and $25 dollars later he had brand new front suspension put on his bike, we got out of town buy 9am and the roads were great 2 lane highway all the way to the next major town, our bikes were going full speed the whole way, im not sure how fast we were going, my bike shows me that im doing 120km all the time… but I think we were doing about 70km/hr and we made really good time, we got off the main road and headed up into the mountains the highway was to boring and it felt like my bike was going to explode, for the next hour we just climbed up into the mountains and my ears popped 3 times, we passed lots and lots of waterfalls and these mountains were different to the ones up near the Chinese border, this was more of a jungle and when we got to the top it got real cold and we were riding in the clouds again its so surreal riding threw the mist, but soon enough we were going back down and this side of the mountain was really hot, im not quite sure where we are the moment, but getting here was hard, it was so hot and we were all getting headaches, but we pulled into town and found a place to eat, and we drank loads of water, and the food was really good we wanted to ride 60km further towards sapa and we were all spent, and after having a big lunch all we wanted to do was rest, we found decent hotel and decided to spend the night in town and ride to sapa tomorrow the road we want to use tomorrow is shown on the map as more of a trail then a road so its going to be a interesting ride tomorrow, we have 120km to get to sapa so that will probably we a full days ride, think were going to head back to Hanoi from sapa and leave the Canadians and then head south to Saigon, im looking forward to spending a few days resting in sapa, before riding down back to Hanoi.
