Another pretty chilled day today, managed to get a few chapters of GOT read chilling in the shade of a tree in the park, when evening came we ventured to our dubbed local pub where they held a beer drinking contest every Wednesday, the name of the game was to drink a litre of beer as fast as you can through a straw, no easy task! We felt confident being Guerns, however... A mountain from Finland was one of our opponents, 6ft4 and big, he powered through about 90% of his beer superhumanly fast but then made a break for the toilet... The rest of us were going pretty even until the other big Fin chap got his second wind and managed to pip victory, it was a moral victory for us as we got a litre of beer for free and then got given a free tshirt as well, win win, we then hung out with the Fins and had a few more drinks with them, they were really cool, after getting a bit merry we plodded back to the guesthouse and we were moving on the following day.
