Today has been a good day, we went to the tour company for about 9am where we met 2 Canadian girls who were both pretty cool, then after a short tuk tuk ride we kayaked to a village where we visited elephant cave which is a fairly sacred place with a big Buddha statue in it, we then went a little further and had a swim in a stream to cool off, shortly after we hopped in some tubes and went caving in this huge cave with head torches on, it was really cool and something I'd never done before, it was about a 30 minute round trip before I saw sunlight again! After an amazing lunch we got back into our kayaks and set off down yeah river, the views was amazing and we even managed to capsize on one of the rapids... We stopped at a riverside bar and had a beer and mingled with some other travellers before setting back off towards Vangvieng, the trip was literally a 9-5 job and we were so happy with everything about it! After chilling out a bit and having dinner we hit up the Irish Bar again and met a lot of the people from the night before, got pretty hammered and went to a mini club where we saved a drunk chappy from a lady boy!! After having one gin and juice too many I plodded back and crashed out, ruddy good day though!
