We arrived early! The one time I wanted to arrive late and our bus driver must haves floored it... Ah well, we got into Vientiane around 7am after a less than cozy nights sleep, we hopped in a tuk tuk and got to our new place at around 8am after waiting around for the tuk tuk to fill up, we managed to check in early and then go for a wander around the capital, it's quite nice here, a lot better than Pakze, we found a park were we just chilled out for a few hours ...

We knew we had the overnight bus in the evening so couldn't really venture off out again on another mini tour like yesterday (wishes we could though!) so we checked out and put our bags in reception then went in search of some place with decent wifi so we could kill a couple hours, we found a cheap place with computers and milled about there for 2 hours, managed to let an episode of breaking bad stream and watched it, only about 3 more to go, so no spoilers pleas...

Got up early today (a shocking change to the body) and had another one of the incredible scrambled egg sandwiches, our tour mini van (air-conditioned thank god) picked us up at 8am and we set off to a few different areas, firstly was this huge twin waterfalls which looked incredible and the surrounding area looked amazing too! We awoke late and still a bit drained from our exceedingly long coach journey, with the bad weather leaving the roads in a state I think it took about 16 hours by the time we arrived in Patze last night, I polished off an amazing scrambled egg sandwich and then we went to explore the town a bit, to our dismay we didn't find too much so popped to a near by tourist info/travel agents and he advised there wasn't too much in the actual town but a lot to see in the ar...
