It was our first full day in Luang Prabang since we got here pretty late last night and crashed out, we went out for a walk and got breakfast by the riverside, after strolling a bit further we again bumped randomly into our Finnish friends Pablo, Mikko and Olli, we spoke to a few tour agencies about local things to see and after getting a good price we went back to the Fins to see if they wanted to join, they were more than happy to and as there was more of us the price got even lower! We booked in for a waterfall visit and elephant riding for the following morning, we then as a 5 went walking and exploring the town, it was pretty toasty so stopped for a fruit shake and plodded on towards a chill out bar called Utopia that Olli and Mikko had heard a lot about, after walking a little while longer we soon found it and had a beer before discovering it was Olli's birthday, so naturally had another beer to celebrate, we then made our way up to the top of the temple, there was so many steps we were all dripping with swear by the time we got there and we managed to catch the last 5 mins of the sunset, after this we walked back down and went our separate ways, Jed and myself got a curry and retreated to our room where I got trough another few chapters of GOT before calling it a night, early start tomorrow to the elephant riding!!
