Today is just a nice lazy day. Go back to Chilli's to type up my notes, shaded from the sun. A little hungover, a cooling bottle of water for solace.
We go snorkelling but head left away from the boats. The corals further along are in great shape and there are many pipefish and tropical fish. A positive amount of green and hawksbill turtles are here. The Philippines has a fierce heat, even more so than Cambodia at this time of year. Sweating we watch the sunset with no breeze for company. Trying to find some Asian food, we find a small place called Hot Stuff. With no wind, the meal is quick but very tasty. I try the chicken curry and Craig goes for a tuna and tomato dish.
Back to Chilli's we both enter a pool competition. I get drawn and beaten by a local girl. I knew I was in trouble when she unpacked her own cue. I get speaking to a German guy who is trying to start his own free diving school here. He has competed in all the large competitions. His record is around 90 metres.
We decide that the local rum is a good idea. As far as today's blog goes, it was fantastic.
