I go into town, hottest day so far in Luang Prabang. I go to the Aussie bar as there is always a working fan and water sprays into the bar. I have a lot of Notes to type up and want to finish this task today. I order a few drinks and watch the rain pour down. The humidity now lifted and a pleasant breeze has returned.
I speak to the Irish manager David at the hostel and we agree to go see a live band at Utopia. I have a few beers and we leave with another worker Hung. Utopia is packed and we find a bench. Meet an American from the hostel and a Canadian girl. Once the bar closes we go back to the hostel roof. David locks the door so we have our own private bar. We stay up talking for awhile before crashing out. David has been a good guy to get to know.
