Get up and Craig is packing. Takes awhile to disassemble the 2 well crafted crossbows. We trim the arrows in the hope they will get through customs. I say my farewells, groggy headed from the bowling the night before. I will miss Craig's company as the last few months have been a good adventure but it is time for a new one. I grab some lunch at the Aussie bar and head to the embassy. The gate is locked and the miserable man behind the desk is no help what so ever. I find a cafe and shelter from the sun.
I go back a few hours later and still closed. There is now a queue and a French couple tell me there is a meeting on and it should be open at 4pm. I grab some water and wait. The process is straight forward and after paying my $70 I will get my visa on Monday. There are worse places to spend the weekend.
I walk through the rain back to town and go to a cafe that serves a great iced coffee. I sit watching tourists wander around.
I grab a shower and after sorting out some of my notes head to the night market. There is a restaurant at the start of the market called The Blossom Hotel. I sit at the front watching the mix of locals and tourists. I order some spring rolls and a pork noodle soup washed down with some cold beer(LT)
