Hey, heres a brief rundown of what we have been up 2... Dunedin - We didnt spend much time here but its very scottish...well according to Pete as ive never been. We went to the world's steepest street here...........and its bloody steep. Pete thought it would be a good idea to dive to the top because accoring to his interpretation of the map we didnt have to drive back down as there was a through road! ERRRR NOOO we had to drive back down.......so funny now but not at the time. Poor Bilbo struggled to get too the top and then almost rode on his head down again. Yes i did scream. We also went to the Otago Pensulia from here too.....where we saw penguins and albatross! Catlins - this is by far the remotest area we have travelled in far. In the very south of the south island this place is just farm after farm. We did hit a few unsealed roads too....not too sure whether we were allowed or not - we think it may of been private land. Oh well didnt hear any shots from a farmers gun. We made it too slope point here - the most southerly point of the south island so we have travelled from end to end! Wicked! Invercargill - abit of a nothing city! We went too Bluff which is quite famous here in NZ. Here had some good views of the end of the south island and across the water to stewart island which is meant to be more remote than where we have just come from. Scary.
