Abbie - This morning we went to Uluru again and went for one last walk around a little bit of it. Once we had finished walking we had a big drink and then went to Kata Tjuta (Olgas) which Liv calls the Ogres. We did a walk around the Olgas. It was steep and rocky but when we got to the end of our walk there was an excellent view. We then had lunch and went back past Uluru and drove off to a rest area on the way to Kings Canyon. When we got there we collected some firewood, we had a fire and some dinner and damper and we went to bed.
Olivia - First we went to Uluru and did a walk it was about 1 hour. It was fun! We read two stories about things that happened at Uluru some bad some good. I didn't read them but everyone else did. Then we went to the Olgas which is a place with big huge rocks, but not as big as the Uluru rock. We also went for a walk their for about 35 minutes. It was a pretty good view when we got up to the top. We went to a rest area. The first thing we saw was a dingo that I had spotted out. Secondly we went to gather some sticks for a fire. For dinner we had spag bol and I had a cup of soup as well. We had a nice damper for dessert and then we went to bed.

Andrea Green I imagine it is quite hot up there. What sort of temperatures are you experiencing? Is it cold at night? Every time I make a comment on your blog, I have to do some maths (so the computer knows I am a real person and not a spammer). I'm getting quite good at maths now as I am getting a lot of practice!
Granny x I can picture the whole scene, lovely girls! I am so jealous of those camp fires! It was just lovely to receive your postcard today Abbie! Lovely neat writing and lovely to be thought of. Dad Mum and Dad tell you the puzzling story of Lindy Chamberlain and her baby? Your sighting of a dingo reminded me!
Abbie Hello Andrea, the day time tempreture here is about 20 degrees! But yes still cold at night! But getting hotter!!!
Bron In truth the weather during the day is gorgeous- sunny blue skies and low 20s but overnight it drops to between 0-2 degrees so, given that we are sleeping under canvas, we are wearing almost every item of clothing we brought to keep us warm at night!!
Liv The mountains look so good!!!
