Abbie - This morning we got up at 6.45am and went to the thermal spring to swim and hopefully see some turtles! Our friend, staying at the same caravan park as us, told us that apparently there are turtles from around 7-7.30am. We luckily saw about 3 turtles and the water was so beautiful and warm. We left and walked back to the caravan park to have a hot shower and raisin toast for breakfast in the camp kitchen. Then we had an egg and bacon muffin for lunch and played 1-2 games of UNO. Then we went to Mataranka thermal springs, but they weren't as good as Bitter Springs because it wasn't as big and it didn't seem as natural. Then we came back to the caravan park and decided to go in the Bitter springs again. It was about 4 o'clock when we saw some more turtles and Dad even managed to pick one up, but it got angry so he put it down. Then we got out and came back for a delightful shower where we saw a frog and a cane toad. We had dinner and went to bed.
Olivia - First we got up at about 7 o'clock and got to go down to the thermal springs. It was really nice and warm. We saw 2-3 turtles! They were really cute. Then we came back and had a nice breakfast of egg and bacon in a muffin. It was delicious. Then we got up to go to a place called Mataranka Springs. We went to a pool like the one at our campsite. It was crowded so it wasn't nearly as good. We had an ice-cream. After that we left. We went back to the thermal springs at our caravan site and spent a few hours there. It was pretty fun just floating along getting pulled by the current until Dad got talking to Simone. It got annoying but we finally got out of it. Then we left, had a shower, came back to the caravan, had dinner and dessert and went to bed.
