Abbie - Today we left Daly Waters and drove until about 1030 where we stopped at Bitter Springs, Mataranka. We went in the thermal springs! They are hot springs and it is beautiful and blue water. It quite a long stretch of water but I loved it! We came and had a hot shower and I quickly went to the shops with dad. We came back and had dinner, played a few games and then went to bed.
Olivia - First we drove a long way and finally got to a campsite. We swam in thermal springs which is a long wide river that is as hot as a spa. You get to hire a noodle each. It was so, so fun. We came back had dinner and went to bed.
P.S. The person who works there told us that you can get up at 7.30 to try and see a turtle.

Granny x I remember getting up very early to swim in the hot pools, girls. Abbie, have you seen a cane toad yet? Have Mum and Dad told you about the book called "We of the Never Never" Livvy did you go to visit jeannie Gunn's house? Mum and Dad will tell you about her. She was a wonderful woman.
Uncle Linton I love that photo and remember the place so well. How great is that beautiful, clear, hot water...and no crocodiles!
