Currently I'm sitting in the elephant house cafe. Any of you huge Harry potter fans will know that this is where JK Rawling wrote the majority of her first few Harry potter books. From the back window you can see the castle that was apparently her inspiration for Hogwarts, with 4 big towers.

We did a free walking tour today and it was awesome. We saw all the main sights and got a lot of information about the history of Scotland. We also walked the royal mile and stopped in at his quaint bagpipe shop where he taught us all about them and we were able to just ask him a bunch of questions. Tonight we are going on a literary pub tour where there will be actors fond little skits for us at each of the pubs.

Fun fact: in Scottland it was said that the 3 tell tail signs that you were a witch were: red hair, and big brown birthmark, and a third nipple. If you only had 2 of the 3 signs then they would toss you in the lake and if you drown then you'd be sent to heaven and if you floated then were were a witch and would be hung and then burned
