We had a great Swiss day at in gimmawald and headed to Leucern. After saying goodbye to our new Aussie friends we boarded the most scenic train I've ever been on seeing both the Swiss alps and beautiful aqua lakes. Once we got to Leucern we realized that it just wasn't going to compare to the mountains, as it's another big city and at this point on our trip we have lost the aww and appreciation we as they tend to be more and more similar. None the less we checked into our hostel and then toured the city hitting up a few of the main monuments. After an hour of touring we had had enough so we went to the co-op piked up some 50cent tall boys (yes Switzerland one of the most expensive countries we visited had store-brand beer for 50 cents!) and drank on the bridge and just relaxed. We then went back to the hostel and made our last planned meal from our holland groceries. We were all pretty tired from Swiss day and traveling or most of the day so we decided we would have a nap and then decide what we wanted to do that night, however we didn't get up until the next morning.

Fun fact: here's an example of how inflated the prices are in switzerland. The cost of a BigMac happy meal is 11.50chf that's like 12/13$ Canadian!
