We left with hard goodbye from om Audrie and tanta Audrianna, they were so welcoming and caring it was hard to leave. We then took the train from Rosendal to Eintoven where Marianne would pick us up after work. We had the day to waste and unsure as to what we should do we headed to the moor theater and finally watched hp7 as karlee had been craving to see it our whole trip. We saw it in 3D which made it even cooler, luckily the movie was in English and just had Dutch subtitles, where as some of the other movies in the theater were translated into Dutch (mostly ones for children).
After the movie we shopped for a few hours and I picked up 2 more nail polishes, upping my count to 7. I really should have just brought some along because having shown up with naked nails it's just been way too tempting. We then had a drink on the terrace (a very common practice in Europe) before being picked up by Marianne. We then drove back to her place had some tea and pie and chatted for a few hours before heading to bed.
She has just moved into a new house so it was really funny. She has hardly any furniture and no lights! Apparently in holland it's common to take your light fixtures with you when you move so he only had lights in her kitchen, bedroom and washroom. She said she can't decide on fixtures so she hasn't bought any yet. It made for a very dark house! She also didn't have spare beds, but she borrowed 2 blow up mattresses from a friend and some sleeping bags for us and that was just perfect!
Fun fact: in Europe if you order a beer on tap they bring you a half pint, it is not common to drink pints like in Canada.
