We spent the morning hanging out around the house having tea and reading our books, it was awesome and exactly what I needed after so many days of travel and go go go it's really nice to have a home base for a solid few days.

Then this afternoon we went to Tillbourgh, a town in holland that hosts the largest carnival in Europe! They essentially close down the whole downtown and put a carnival that last for 2 weeks. Its blocks and blocks of games, rides, food stands, and of course lots of bars. We sat on a few terraces and enjoyed people watching and had a few Ollie bollies as per uncle Kevin's suggestion. They were awesome! It's like deep fried batter with icing sugar.

After the carnival we went to the beat buffet I have ever been to! It was huge and had every kind of food you could want, and it was good quality food, not like some buffets. I had quite a bit of sushi cause I had been missing it and then salads, deep fried Brie cheese, among other things. It was unreal. The place was also really cool because it had a play room for children, a games room for teens, and multiple patios. It was really cool. After we finished and rolled out of the restaurant we went back and watched a slideshow Johan made for marianne and then watched American gangster before heading to bed.

Fun fact: French fries as we know them today originated in Belgium, not France as the name may suggest
