So of course the day we are leaving Amsterdam it's beautiful and sunny. After dropping Kaylena off at the train we hopped on a train if our own and headed to Rosendal.
We arrived at the train station in Rosendal and were welcomed by the warm/ goofy smile of ome Audry. We then drove to their place and got settled before heading back to the train station to rent some bikes. We spent the afternoon biking on the paths with ome Audry and tanta Adrianna and biked to Belgium where we stopped on a terrace to have a drink. They are in amazing shape for their age! In holland biking is very popular and there are separate bikelanes everywhere and specific lights for them. Also instead of having maps, or directions for certain trails there are just signs with names of towns/ areas that each have a number, and then you just follow a certain number. It's really cool. After our break we biked back to holland via the country side and had a great dinner and Dutch apple pie at the house.
Fun fact: many Dutch people move to belgim or live on the border because houses are much cheaper and have different rules. In holland each house in an area has to look similar, or at least look like they fit together or belong, where as in Belgium you can build whatever you want. A contemporary house beside an old brick home, it doesn't matter.
