This morning after a great breakfast of cheese, halgalslagh (chocolate hail), and fruit we were ready to go to dalft. This is the town where they make royal dalft blue, china that is really very famous for it's design.

Instead of going right there we first went to the farm where the Kester's grew up. It has now been transformed into a petting zoo and restaurant. It was really neat for ome Audry to tell us about it and tell us storys. At the petting zoo I saw the biggest bunny u have ever seen in my entire life! It was the size of a small dog and was so fat it had a huge neck roll! There was also a station where you could try milking a fake cow ( it had water in it) so omw Audry taught Karlee and I how. I know it's for children but I had quite a good time. We then had lunch in the restaurant that was once the house and then were on our way.

In delft we did a tour of the factory and it was really cook to see how it was made, as it's all done by hand and there is quite the history with it. It was even more surprising to see the prices! It's crazy how much people pay for it!

After the factory we walked around delft and ome Audry did a little walk down memory lane it was funny! We then drove to the port where grandma and grandpa left the neherlands to come o Canada. There we went to a restaurant and had a drink before having dinner of spaghetti. We then had a few drinks before having desert. Strawberries, chocolate pudding, ice cream and whipped cream! Yum! I really like how the meal is a whole evening affair, from probably 7 until 11 we were just sitting around the table talking, eating, drinking, no need for tv or other entertainment.

Fun fact: before the delft blue is fired it is not blue but black, the fire causes the cobalt oxide solution to change to the trademark blue.
