We forgot to charge the phone last night, so with power available only from 6 to 11pm i wasn't able to take any photos with this camera to post but I will again tomorrow. I've taken a few tonight here at the house, including the one of this frog that is hanging out on the wall in the kitchen.
Quite a day here - we each had a Thai massage this morning that was unquestionably the best ever for working out the knots. We visited the dive shop (hut) to confirm our schedule and then spent some time swimming in the bay. The water was like a warm bath and unlike anything I've swam in before; I'd guess close to 80 degrees. Colin needed to run back to the house for a snack and I stayed at the beach... He was gone so long I thought he fell asleep so I was packing up when he came back to tell me there were monkeys in the house when he arrived back! One had been inside (it's mostly wide open) and several were outside, including a new mother with a young baby. Would you believe, the only time I'm not with him and he sees the monkeys!
I forgot to bring my glasses along, since being blind is a bit scary at night when I have to find my way to the bathroom in the dark and not knowing what I might encounter on the floor. Early this morning I went to wash my hands and found a frog in the bathroom sink! Frogs and geckos in the house I can handle, especially because they eat the nasty bugs and mosquitos.
Keeping with the bathroom theme, Colin wanted everyone to take a look at the picture of the toilet here to see if anyone can guess why there's a spray hose beside it...?
Hope everyone's well back home! We keep thinking of you there, a full half-day behind us! Talk about a time warp!
