Day 16

Sadly, our last day in Thailand and we packed and had a nice swim in the sea then the pool. Interestingly, the pool seemed warmer than the sea today. Checked out then had lunch in the restaurant and waited for our 2:00pm airport pickup for our trip home via Kuala Lumpur.

The Golden Beach Resort was a lovely place to stay in a quieter part of Ao Nang. The street outside was more of a footpath than a road and vehicles were only permitted for picking up and dropping off. The restaurant was situated with a lovely view of the beach and was reasonably priced. The staff were lovely and tried to please whenever we dealt with them, as did all the people we met in Thailand.

We return home very relaxed after a lovely 2 week holiday.
