I was due to go the glow worms caves today but my trip was cancelled because the caves are flooded. Several roads were closed today including the one we took yesterday to Milford Sound. It rained all morning so I just stayed around the hostel. It stopped raining around lunchtime so I rushed out to a cafe for coffee and lunch. On the drive to Te Anau, which is the access point to Milford and Doubtful Sound, I stopped at Kingston. But not upon Thames. They have a stream railway here, which is closed because it's winter, a few chalet style houses and a tacky looking bar. Where's the shops and Jax's? Low cloud and rain today
