I thought I would go to see the all weather course at Gore for Trotting racing. These have been transferred from another course which is flooded.
To say that it's cold is an understatement. So much so I can't hold my camera still.
It's mostly men here, sitting in the bar, drinking and gambling.
There are about 15 horses and riders in each race, they do 2 laps of the course and the noise was amazing.
I watched 2 races outside in the groundstand before deciding it was far too cold to stay longer.
I had a bet on a horse called "Man I'm Good" well he obviously wasn't as he came in last. But as I had lost less than the cost of a cup of coffee I wasn't that bothered.
