Cabonaconde

I spent all day in Chivay waiting for my 2pm bus to Cabonaconde. I had breakfast, then went back to bed till 1030, then ate an alpaca (llama) sandwich which was delicious. Red meat but much softer and very yummy. But I think that gave me food poisoning so ate nothing else after that until I got to my hostel La Casa De Santiago. The bus ride was 3 hours with no toilet. Need I say more?

I'm now figuring out the best way to see the condors in the morning. I have 2 main choices: either take the bus half an our away to a very touristy viewpoint where I'm more guaranteed to see the birds ...I think they feed them I'm told, or walk 15 mins to a more private less known viewpoint where I may not actually see any, and it will be a long wait but IF i see any it will be much more magnificent, sitting there alone, at one with nature. I think I have decided.
