More right Whales
So I've booked yet another bus all the way to Buenos Aires today at 4pm. It gets there at 11am tomorrow. I go to the supermarket and stock up on healthy snacks. The stuff they give you on these buses is AWFUL. If the whole meal isn't sugar based it's salt instead. I now have a few hours to kill so I wander over to the pier in the hope of seeing even more whales. People say it's possible to see them from there but who knows. It's a gorgeous sunny day so I'm happy to sit and read my book instead. No way!! I get there and within only 5 minutes I spot some movement. It's really far away though so impossible to take a pic. 10 mins of watching that one and there's another one on the other side of the pier. Still really far away but I can clearly see him. He (or probably she. It's mother and baby time) is flipping around and looks like she's waving to me! She jumps out the water and I can see what looks like her baby next to her. Not quite as brave though. She then starts showing me her tail. Loads of times and I think I manage to get a few pics this time! It feels so special today, compared to yesterday. I'm seeing this, in true nature, for free, without a guide! I feel even more privileged today!!
Anyway, the dream ends and I need to go catch my bus.
