Rainy Day in Puerto Iguazu

I got up early, all ready to catch the 740 bus to the falls but it's really cloudy and looks like rain. I checked the forecast and it's "scattered thunderstorms" today and "partly cloudy" tomorrow. So guess I'm here an extra day!

I've been experimenting with my eyebrows. I haven't touched them since I left - ok not QUITE true. I've kept the monobrow thing under control slightly but as for the rest, I've gone eu natural and they're not too bad to be honest. My best friend Lesley and I treated ourselves to our first eyebrow plucking when we were 14 on Valentines day in an attempt to make ourselves feel better for being sad and alone. I've been over plucking ever since! As soon as I get home I'll get someone to re shape them. From a blank canvass lol!

OMG I woke up with mosquito bites all over me again!!! Where did these wee b******s come from??? I didn't research did I? I was getting complacent in all the cold. But, duh, with heat and especially humidity comes mosquitoes damn them!!!

I posted a few bits to UK today. That should lighten things up a bit for when I move on. I also bought more mosquito repellent. Damn them! Looks like I'll be sweating in long sleeves at the falls tomorrow! The rest of the day I just hung around the hostel, updated my blog, and read. Although it's only quarter to 3 so who knows what will happen later! My daughter has just arrived in Mexico. I looked up whether I could "pop" over and see her. It's almost 2000 miles from here. Perhaps not lol!
