Our first actual social event took place on December 2nd and we did a Secret Santa dinner. Everyone brought a different dish and we all ate and talked as we got to know one another. The cool thing about our group is that it is ALL GIRLS #GirlPower !! Although, we do have one young faculty member traveling with us and he is the only guy.

I had a really good time at this dinner. We all ate and then exchanged gift and kept talking after. It was really cold that night.

My favorite part is when we all went around re-introducing ourselfs and saying our school majors and hobbies. It's really intriguing to see people from different walks of life come together and share one main goal.

I'm really looking forward to spring break!
