Well, our traveling (at least for this trip) is almost over. We are at the Toronto Airport waiting for our flight to Houston. It was an early morning and I wasn't entirely successful in my navigating skills. I thought that Air Canada went out of Terminal 1. But, once we dumped the car...and got in the terminal, there were no signs of AC because they were located in Terminal 2a, which required a train ride. Then, I tried to beat the buzzer getting on the train and just about got squished. Ken, smartly decided to to attempt and was left standing on the platform, while I sped off to Terminal 2. So far, it just hasn't been my morning.
We were able to "enjoy" the AC club by the gate, and I say that while rolling my eyes. It was tiny, hot...but at least had wi-fi. We were in first class on the flight to Toronto, but nothing too exciting. We ate, slept and read for the 8 hours. Interestingly, even though we went first class our luggage went steerage and we ended up waiting for 40 minutes for them to process it...not just ours, most of the first class cabin had the same issue.
We will be heading to our gate in just a bit...no first class on this flight. It is a little plane, so back to reality in many ways. We both are back at work tomorrow, back to travel for work next week....but we will have some great memories. Crepes, champagne, bon soir, merci, (Ken learned some French), history, beautiful sites and much more.
Au Revoir!
