So, I am taking advantage of the blog website to post some pictures of Ken's place pre-wine tasting. I should have taken pics during the party, but we were having fun visiting and drinking awesome wine!

But, we hung a bunch of artwork yesterday morning and I thought family/friends who couldn't join might like to see how it looks. 

For the wine tasting we had about 40 join us,but they had to brave the crazy Houston weather to get here. We are in desperate need of rain, but did the sky have open up the one night we plan a party? There were thunderstorms, high winds and flooding in many parts of the city, so we really appreciated those who made it. We get several messages from friends who tried, but got stuck under overpasses or had to help those who had car issues due to high water. We had planned some cool lights, lanterns and a fire pit outside, but it all stayed nice and dry in the garage!

Colin, from BWise brought some great wine and it was a wonderful introduction to their vineyard and winery. He also provided amazing food, so we were well stocked for the evening. Thanks to Dave and Linda from Norris Conference Centers for lending us the wine glasses!
